For linguists who want to work on the structure of the failures rather than case by case — morphology, syntax, pragmatics, and what they predict about model behaviour.

What you’ll do

• Categorise linguistic failures into actionable patterns
• Design test sets targeting specific structures
• Analyse results across languages for shared weaknesses
• Write up findings for a non-linguist audience

What we’re looking for

• Degree-level linguistics with applied or analytical experience
• Comfort working with structured data
• No AI background required

Time commitment

6–15 hours per week, projects typically run 6–12 weeks

Pay and how you’re paid

$60–$95 per hour, paid every two weeks by bank transfer
