Tax rewards precision about residence, timing and characterisation. You will build problems where the trap is an unstated assumption, and judge whether models notice.
What you’ll do
- Construct problems turning on residence, timing or characterisation
- Check treatment against current legislation and guidance
- Flag confident answers built on unstated assumptions
- Note where a model applies the wrong jurisdiction's rules
What we’re looking for
- Tax qualification with advisory or compliance experience
- Current working knowledge of at least one tax regime
- No technical background required
Time commitment
5–15 hours per week, projects typically run 4–12 weeks
Pay and how you’re paid
$90–$140 per hour, paid every two weeks by bank transfer
