General translation quality is largely solved. Terminology in regulated and technical domains is not — and that is where the errors are consequential.
What you’ll do
- Review translations for terminological accuracy in your domain
- Check that regulated phrasing is preserved, not paraphrased
- Build glossaries and reference translations
- Document systematic terminology failures
What we’re looking for
- Professional translation experience in a technical or regulated domain
- Native-level fluency in the target language
- No technical background required beyond your domain
Time commitment
8–20 hours per week, projects typically run 4–12 weeks
Pay and how you’re paid
$60–$95 per hour, paid every two weeks by bank transfer
